Special Considerations During the COVID Pandemic

Effective July 13, due to a new Region of Waterloo by-law, people will be required to wear a face mask while in the Church. Details about who is required and who is exempt can be found in the by-law that requires face covering in enclosed public places.

You must abstain from attending church for your safety and for the safety of other Parishioners if your immune system is compromised, you have serious health problems, you have any of the Covid-19 symptoms or have traveled outside the province of Ontario within the last 2 weeks.

There will be limits on the number of attendees, and seating will be arranged for you by our Ushers to keep physically distant. In addition to wearing face masks as you come to church, other precautions like using hand sanitizers, are also recommended.

We will continue to stream Holy Mass on Facebook live from St. Agnes while the church is open.

The dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass is still granted to all Catholics in the Diocese of Hamilton by Bishop Douglas Crosby.

Please read the linked letter from Most Reverend D. Crosby OMI, Bishop of Hamilton Diocese
