If you are preparing for sacraments…This is the best time to request a copy of your baptismal certificate from the office. If you know you were baptized at St. Agnes, send an email request to the office with the full name and year of baptism and we can deliver the copy directly to the sacramental team on your behalf.
Welcome to Sacramental Preparation at St. Agnes Parish. We are very excited for all of the children and their families as you continue your journey to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation & First Holy Communion.
Sacramental preparation is the responsibility of the parish and parents. Any support teachers give is very much appreciated and a gift to the children.

Lenten Family Prayer Centre & Activities for Lent
Lenten Prayer Campaign: Permission Form
As the Catholic church sees Sacramental Preparation as an exceptionally special celebration involving the entire community, our parishioners will be invited to begin the liturgical time of Lent praying for our students who are about to receive these beautiful Sacraments.
How will the Prayer Campaign work?
- A basket will be set up in the rear of the church with ONLY the first name of each of our candidates, along with a number. Parishioners will be invited to draw a name and commit to pray for them until their Sacrament is received.
- A “mailbox” will also be set up giving parishioners the option of writing a special note of support to their candidate; notes will be delivered directly to the school and forwarded to the student.
- There will be no contact of any nature between the parishioner and the student.
